Peanut Butter And Jelly Sadness

I didn't get to the days pictures yet and now I'm tired, so they'll have to get posted tomorrow night. I'll leave you with this, though....

For lunch Bek, Emmett and I had ham and cheese on rolls, and Emmett did quite well with it. Max requested and had peanut butter and jelly. After Bek and Emmett had finished and left the table, Max turned to me and told me that he felt sad. The reason proved to be that he wasn't eating what everyone else was eating. I asked him if wanted a ham and cheese sandwich and he said he wasn't sure he'd like it. I offered a bite of my sandwich. He carefully bit just the ham and roll. Once declaring the he liked that, he wanted to try a bite with the cheese too (swiss). Again he liked it! Then he said he wanted to try the whole thing, with tomato and lettuce. He liked it again! Then he asked that, if he finished his peanut butter and jelly, could he have a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato too. I said yes, he ate his P&J, and I made him half a ham and cheese with lettuce, tomato and mayonaise. He didn't eat a lot of it, but I think he was just plenty full already. He looked a lot happier.

Unfortunately I left the ham out and now we have to throw it out, most of the pound we'd just bought. Bek and I were quite sad about that. Worse, tomorrow Max is going to be eating peanut butter and jelly again, but I suppose we will be too.
