But That's Not All

A week later, after having picked up one copy of DDR Mario Mix for $5.25 at kmart, I went to the same kmart and, thinking the trip was a dud, on the way out, happened upon a shopping cart sitting near the checkout counter with lots of junk in it and, yes, it's true, there was another copy of DDR Mario Mix in it! I asked the cashier if I could buy stuff from that cart. He seemed unsure, but finally took the box out of the cart, ran it through the scanner and again it rang up for $5. Obviously I bought it!

After looking on ebay and seeing that the DDR Mario Mix game alone, without the dance pad, was selling for a lot too (albeit not $150), I opted to take the dance pad out, so we'd have two, and then sold the game (which was in a sealed box) on ebay. It sold for $90.90 including my shipping charge (which I offered a discount on, giving express mail shipping for priority mail price). After taking out what I paid for shipping, ebays fees and paypals fees, we netted $62.80. Take out the $10.50 I paid for both copies and we ended up being paid $52.30 to give Max and Emmett DDR Mario Mix with two dance pads for Christmas!

We also got a great deal on Donkey Konga with 4 sets of bongos, but I don't know how good of a deal because I have a bunch of extra bongo sets and games to sell on ebay yet!
